Opera Theatre of Saint Louis is excited to offer several different summer camps in collaboration with our partners at the St. Louis Public Libraries and Manchester United Methodist Church. All camps will include the opportunity to attend a live performance. Campers do not need any prior experience with opera in order to participate. Sign up today!

Grades: 3-8
9 a.m. β 3 p.m., daily

Hosted by Manchester United Methodist Church, students in grades 3-8 will explore the basics of stagecraft, including singing, writing, composing, costuming, stage makeup, and set design. Campers will use their new skills to create and stage their own original opera.β―After the camp, students, parents, and guardians will have the opportunity to attend an Opera Theatre mainstage performance.

Make a Scene at the St. Louis Public Library

Ages: 12β15
1 p.m. β 4 p.m., daily
Free registration
Hosted by the St. Louis Public Library, students ages 12 – 15 will have the opportunity to sing, act, and dance scenes from musical theater and opera repertoire and meet guest artists from the industry. After the camp, students will have the opportunity to attend an Opera Theatre mainstage performance.Β
